WIP... stuff will be broken...
Another post I was asked to write... Cold air intake for the gen 3, possibly the best.
Prices are rough, but accurate at time of writing, they include postage within Australia
This guide presumes you've removed the factory system, piping and filter housing and is generally, poorly written... You're welcome.
Yes this will clear factory battery, don't pay attention to my temporary solution for one...

Kits already include 5x, if you can't find any large ones locally you can utilise to smaller ones together
In the carbon fibre filter kit; throw out both reducing joiners and the accordion tube, you should be left with the collection in the picture
In the universal cold air kit throw out the filter, the retaining bracket and the included PCV grommet (it's doesn't seal...), fit the reducing joiner to the end closest to the grommet, you should be left with what's in the picture
Fit the Fuelmiser PCV grommet into the cold air kit's pipe
Connect the carbon filter housing to the universal kit with the 45° elbow (you will likely have to trim 50mm or so off each end) any trimming is easiest done with a razer blade and patience.
You can get a straight edge by tightening a hose clamp where you would like to cut and using it like a ruler. Keep in mind that the carbon filter is one way and is not marked, if you look into the tube however, the side with the tip of the cone filter on it is the inlet and the side where you can see a large set of pleats tapering to a point is the outlet.
Connect the straight coupler to the carbon kit and then the straight piping piping into this coupler
Attach the 90° Silicone elbow to the end of the straight piping, trim as required or just push the extra length further in if you're lazy...
Install completed unit into the vehicle, the 90° should connect up with the factory air intake port by the RHS headlight and the reducing coupling should also slip right on to the throttle body, slip the blue hose through the PCV grommet, trim to length and connect into factory PCV piping (depending on your PCV setup you may require a small bit of 1/2" or 5/8" hose to fit over both the nipple and the supplied hose)
You can also use the included attachment brackets from the carbon fibre kit to secure the whole setup to the strut tower and make it compliant within many states
Don't forget to pull your ECU and Clock fuses for 10~20s before you start the motor back up and let it relearn.
